Vaco appoints Caroline Haché as head of Montreal’s accounting and finance division

Vaco, a global recruiting and consulting firm, has hired Caroline Haché to lead its new recruiting division in the accounting and finance industry in Montreal.

Haché brings to Vaco more than ten years of experience in executive recruiting, finance and accounting, where she will serve as Managing Director. She previously spent seven years at Cielo, a boutique recruiting firm in Montreal, where she was Director of Business Relations. Prior to that, Haché spent three years with global recruiter Drake International, where she was a recruitment consultant.

The expansion of the Montreal office comes about a year after Vaco, a Nashville-based consulting firm, established a location in the city. The office was run by a team of former Randstad Canada consultants, led by Managing Partner Sean Bartunek.

“Our vision in opening our Montreal office last year was to become the # 1 talent and solutions firm in Montreal by helping clients find what really drives great companies – great talent. As we focused on IT and technology, our goal was ultimately to support the finance and accounting industries, ”said Barunek.

Vaco expanded into Canada through the 2017 acquisition of Lannick, a Toronto-based recruiting firm specializing in accounting, finance and IT roles. The company strengthened its Toronto office with the acquisition last month of Prodigy Bank, a recruiter specializing in roles in the technology and financial services industries.

“Vaco is an innovative company with a dynamic culture that is experiencing exciting growth in Montreal and across Canada,” said Haché. “As a results-driven talent connector, I am proud to join this incredible team that strives to help people find the jobs of their dreams! “

Vaco offers executive search, permanent placement and strategic recruitment services, as well as management advice through MorganFranklin, that she acquired last year. The company has more than 1,200 employees in more than 40 offices in the United States, Canada and India.
