Financial firm boosts national expansion from East Anglian hub

Growing Scottish financial advisory firm Hutcheon Mearns has launched its first English regional hub in East Anglia.

The firm said it was growing to meet growing demand for business advice and aimed to become a UK national business within five years. It has previous operations in Suffolk and Norfolk.

The continued national growth of Hutcheon Mearns marks a banner year for the business, which has already expanded from its headquarters in Aberdeen to Dundee and Angus in the east of Scotland.

Key to the new business center will be Tina Maguire, the company’s resource consultant, who was a commercial director for a national agency and helped niche financial recruiters in Norwich.

Ms Maguire said: “As our exciting year of growth continues to gather pace, now is a good time for Hutcheon Mearns to bolster its reputation with a presence in Norwich.

“I know the area very well, having spent 20 years here in my career to date, and am excited to bring our comprehensive service offering to existing and new clients in the area.”

The opening of this new service center is the cornerstone of Hutcheon Mearns’ ambition to expand its comprehensive service offering across the UK over the next five years.

General Manager Craig Hutcheon, said the company has been operating in the area for some time and has already built up an active customer base.

He said: “Tina’s expertise and historically strong professional ties to the region as a recruiter and regular attendee at industry events leaves Hutcheon Mearns well positioned to deliver on our ambition to transform finance.

The firm’s financial business advisory offering includes strategic advice, planning and mergers and acquisitions, as well as specialist recruitment services.

The new office will be located at The Union Building, 51-59 Rose Lane, Norwich
