Thomas Westcott appoints new director of corporate finance – Accountancy Today


Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants has announced that it has expanded its team by appointing a new director of corporate finance, Will Mudd.

Mudd will work closely with Alison Watts, Partner and Head of Business Finance, to provide clients in the South West and beyond with advice on buying and selling businesses.

He joined the international firm Baker Tilly in 2005 as a newly qualified accountant. He then spent seven years in corporate finance roles in the Sydney offices of multinational accounting firms, including advising on major mergers and acquisitions.

Watts said: “Will joins our Corporate Finance team with an extremely impressive resume, having advised companies from start-ups to multinationals. With his global experience, as well as his experience here in the South West, he brings a wealth of experience, which will be invaluable to Thomas Westcott clients.
