A Manchester-based finance company, Buy Now, Pay Later, has built an in-house creative team with the goal of reaching £ 1bn in revenue over the next 5 years.
Payl8r has appointed Stephen Bagshaw as Creative Director, while Chris Pullan has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer.
Bagshaw has previously worked at JWT, MAP and Refinery and received a blank canvas at Payl8r to make “big creative changes”.
“Joining Payl8r was not easy for me, as I was given complete autonomy to move the brand forward by a brilliant management team who trusted me,” he said.
“I already know where we need to go and I’m making some big changes; the impact I could have on the business was too good to be denied.
Pullan, who has served as a consultant and non-executive director for “large national companies” will work alongside Bagshaw to lead their 7-person marketing team.
This summer, Payl8r announced a £ 40million institutional finance line from Conister Bank.
“Our goal is to become the number one brand for retail finance and talent like Stephen and Chris will play a major role in helping make that happen,” said Payl8r CEO Sam Fogerty.
“I hope that the creation of an in-house creative department underscores our commitment to grow rapidly in the industry and also our confidence that we will succeed.”
